All cottages are completely self-catering.
Only bed linen supplied, (no cot linen).
All
other linen can be Hired.
Colour television,
DVD player, Radio/CD player, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer,
iron, hair dryer, barbecue, garden furniture, laundry
room.
Open fire (Coach House only).
Logburners (Ostlery, Mardlers only).
Use of heated Swimming Pool. (Timetabled so each cottage has private
use nearly every day plus shared time daily).
Use of Fitness Room (for over 16's only).
Games Room including pool table,
table tennis, table football, DVD's, books, games. Play area/garden,
climbing frame/slide for children, climbing frame/slide for tots, sand
turtle.
ARRIVAL/UTILITY PACK :
An ARRIVAL/UTILITY PACK is available at a charge of £10.

only.
The pack includes
washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet cleaner, cream cleaner, cloths
(x2) and toilet roll.
Breakfast Pack at £6.00 per person.
Supper Pack at £10.00 per person.
Please note that 48 hours notice is required.
LINEN HIRE
BathTowel £4 per person, Pool Towel £4
per person. Oven Gloves and Tea Towels, Bath Mat can be hired for £3/cottage.
HEATING and POWER
Heating £30/week
"Break" or Part Heating £20 (thereafter £5 per day)
Logs £6 per bag available on site.
Washing machine from £4.
Tumble dryer from £4.
Air Hockey £1 per game.
PETS
Well behaved pets are welcomed in all our cottages except
the Coach House & Ostlery. There is a charge of £20
per week each (payable on arrival). The owners permission
must be obtained if you intend to bring more than one
pet.
Old Farm Cottages is surrounded by a working
farm so pets must be kept under strict control at all
times.
DOGS MUST BE WALKED AWAY FROM THE COTTAGES. DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO FOUL ANYWHERE WITHIN THE COMPLEX FOR THE SAFETY OF THE CHILDREN ON SITE.
Pets must not be allowed on furniture or in public
areas such as the Swimming Pool or childrens
play areas.
COTS AND HIGH CHAIRS -
free of charge
Please advise us when booking if cot or a high-chair is required. Bed linen
is not provided for cots.
DEPOSIT
A deposit will be charged to be received within one week to confirm your booking.
Balance due 8 weeks prior to your holiday.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of £50 per cottage will
be charged on your arrival. This will be returned
after your holiday.
We reserve the right to refuse bookings which, for whatever reason, are incompatible
with Old Farm Cottages.
There will be a Security Deposit of £100 per cottage for
3
or more cottages booked together.
FORCE MAJEURE
We cannot accept responsibility nor be deemed liable for any compensation
where the performance of our contract with the person booking is prevented
or affected by reason of circumstances out of our control.
Circumstances amounting to 'force majeure' include any event which we could
not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include destruction
or damage of the property booked through fire, flood, explosion, storm or
other weather damage, break-in, criminal activity or any similar event beyond
our control. Such circumstances also include riots or civil strife, industrial
action, natural or nuclear disaster, war, threat of war, terrorist activity,
vital utilities being denied for whatever reason and all similar situations
beyond our control.
WHEELCHAIR / DISABLED PERSONS
Some of our properties may not be suitable for anyone with a disability regarding
access and egress. It is essential that all bookings from parties including
people with special needs give us written details of those needs.

We also require confirmation as to whether the disabled person/s will be accompanied
on their holiday by an individual able to attend to all their requirements.
DUTY OF CARE
Care and responsibility for the facilities and our property is
respectfully requested. We are anxious to maintain the standard
at Old Farm Cottages for all our guests. You are requested to
leave the property clean and tidy. Any cottage requiring cleaning
in excess to the standard will incur a penalty of £10/hour
deducted from your deposit.
Please replace any breakages and report any damage.
If you do have a breakage please notify us before the Saturday
of your departure. We strive to maintain high standards and must
make sure all cottages and contents are ready and acceptable for
the next family. Please leave your cottage as you would wish to
find it. Excess cleaning will be charged for as will any damage
to the property or furnishings. (This includes outside furniture
and parasols). Normal wear and tear will not be charged for. Lost
keys will be charged for at £5.00 per key.
REFUSAL/REPOSSESSION
We reserve the right to refuse a booking or to hand over a property where
it is felt the facilities are not suitable for the hirers on the grounds of
age, ill health, disability or any other reason. The owners also reserve the
right to repossess a holiday home without compensation where damage has occurred
or is likely to be caused by the hirer.
TENANCIES
We cater mainly for families, groups and organized events.
We reserve the
right to refuse any booking if not considered suitable. Any restrictions
will be confirmed to you on your booking.
We cannot accept bookings from anyone under 18 years of age.
No more than the number of persons stated are to occupy the cottages.
It is not permissible to exceed the number of persons shown for each cottage.
To exceed the stated number may lead to termination of the hire with no notice
and no refund.
SPECIAL OFFERS
Special offers apply if occupation numbers are less than stated.
It is a condition of your booking that the total number in your party shall
not exceed the number of persons agreed.
Breach of this condition renders the full amount payable.
DISCOUNT
2 persons only per cottage.
Any promotions or discounts only apply at the time of booking.
INSURANCE / CANCELLATIONS
Please ensure you have adequate
insurance cover as you are
responsible for the full
payment. However, we will
make every endeavour to re-let
the holiday in order to relieve
you of the obligation for
the balance should you have
to cancel. Cancellation of
any confirmed booking will
incur an administration charge
of £50.
FACILITIES
All facilities are used at your own risk. Parents are responsible for the safety
of their children.
All communal facilities are NO SMOKING.
ARRIVAL
Saturday Saturday
arriving from 2pm.
Unless by prior approval your holiday commences at 2.00 pm. on the date of
the hire start. If the cottage cannot be made available for reasons beyond
the owners' control and no alternative can be offered the owner will refund
all monies in full but accept no further liability.
DEPARTURE
Departure by 10am please.
The holiday home must be vacated by 10.00 am. on the final day of the holiday.
YOUR VEHICLE
Your vehicles and their accessories and contents are left entirely at your
risk. Old Farm Cottages will not be responsible for any loss or damage from
or to any vehicle from any cause whatsoever. |
